Yesterday we had 5 free periods and today we had 2.
I'm so DREADING to go to school tomorrow :(

Totally spent my holidays traveling. I wouldn't complain if it was overseas.
BUT noo... It was only KualaSelangor.Ipoh.Penang.
The minute I reach home, unpack then pack again and off to another state in two days. Sucks.
Went home to Penang to visit my Grandfather.
He had his leg amputated. Bone Cancer apparently.
But I have a feeling that it's a complete bullshit.
They probably couldn't find out what it was.
So the only possible answer? Malignant(fullstop)
Nevertheless, he's totally fine. Very positive.
Gosh, I admire him so much.

Anyway, I think I've packed a couple of pounds.
How not to when you're in Penang (Food Haven)?!
It's funny, in KL, if you put me in a hawker court I won't be able to decide what to eat.
Because there's NOTHING appealing.
Over in Penang, same situation.
But this time, I can't decide because I just wanna have a bit of EVERYTHING.
Kinda explains my extra pounds.

Now I'm gonna fill you in on my "chump chump" experience :D
My favorite order - Char Koay Kak (Lo Pak Ko in Cantonese)! Don't forget - EXTRA taugeh... :D
The best I've tried so far is in Bayan Food Court.
and of course - Hokkien Mee/Har Mee/Prawn Mee. You'll be a fool to visit Penang and not have a bowl of that.
I would suggest the one in Paya Terubong, I know it's a huge area but I don't know the specifics.
But I know the lady used to sell Hokkien Mee in Methodist Girls School.
I also ate Chu Chap Chok (direct translation: all parts of pork porridge xD) from Newlane.
It wasn't THAT great compared to the one in Sea Park, KL.
In case you are wondering, it's porridge served with pork stomach, intestines and sometimes blood clots.
I know it sounds *gagpukegag* but seriously, try it with deep fried pork intestines.
Hmm... what else?
Oh yeah. Never ever EVER leave Penang until you've tried Balitung.
It's some kind of shellfish. The ones that you have to suck out of the shell.
It's a fun dish. I had a tummy ache from laughing at my dad, puckering with the shell.
My cousin said it's an excellent way to practice kissing. Sure thing, he's right xD

Those are the MAIN ones. Trust me, there's plenty.
Anyway, bottom line is... Visit Penang if you wanna gain a couple of pounds.
Or to pamper your dear little pie hole.
I've traveled back to Penang countless times already, but I've never really enjoyed the food in my hometown until that trip.
And if you think I've had enough of food throughout that four-day trip.
You are so WRONG.
The minute I came home, daddydearest was sooooo kind to drive us all the way to Sri Melor Jaya in USJ.
Such sweetness... since it's located 16km away and obviously the petrol price has driven everyone up the wall lately.
All 5 of us whacked 7 dishes. Love the food there. Common but authentic in a way.
I almost fell off the chair laughing at the mamak waiter's expression.
Boy, he must be wondering if we've been starved for a month.
I'm so dieting for today onwards. *coughs* never gonna happen. love food WAY too much :D

Teens in London protest fave band's 'suicide' label

LONDON (AFP) — Around 100 teenagers marched on the offices of a widely-read British tabloid Saturday to protest at its suggestion that their favourite emo band, My Chemical Romance, encouraged suicide.

They objected to Daily Mail's description of the US group as a "suicide cult band" after a 13-year-old south London student hanged herself two weeks after she started listening to its music.

The Daily Mail, which is read by more than five million people a day, described My Chemical Romance as one of the main "suicide cult" groups forming part of the emo phenomenon.

It went on to describe emo as a teenage trend exported to Britain from the United States in the 1980s and "characterised by depression, self-injury and suicide".

Most of Saturday's demonstrators were young girls, who chanted: "Don't blame MCR!"

Some dressed in typical emo fashion -- tight black jeans, studded belts, dyed black hair -- and heeded organisers' website requests to "consider dressing to suit the day... Don't try to dress stereotypically."

Accordingly, some fans wore homemade T-shirts with slogans such as "Think happy thoughts."

The teenagers had initially wanted to march to the Daily Mail's offices off chic Kensington High Street, but police quashed that idea because of security concerns.

Instead the main protest took place at the Marble Arch monument, next to Hyde Park, as smaller groups were allowed to protest outside the offices.

The article that sparked the protest concerned a coroner's inquest into the death of Hannah Bond, 13, who hanged herself allegedly after starting to listen to the band's music and becoming obsessed with death.

I realized how chaotic I am. Had several cardiac arrest during the trip.
First was checking-in, there was a miscommunication.
I have a feeling that Firefly Park Resort's Marketing Director is gonna come running after me. Long story.
Then, all the activities were messed up.
We were so short of time that we didn't manage to play any games.
Well, I hope everyone's satisfied with the trip.
It's like a heavy load is lifted off my shoulders.

One task's down. Now, I've gotta hunt for a blue/silver/white dress for forum!
Yeap, I have yet to buy one and forum's two days away.
Did I mention how effing difficult it is to shop for a nice affordable dress nowadays?

Goodness me, it's friggin POSH over there.
Everything is GORGEOUS aaaaaaaaaaannnnndddd expensive.
Felt so intimidated there. My heart practically skipped a beat when I saw a Juicy Couture store!
Wanted have a "look-see-look-see" but I felt so... I don't know what you call it, but I didn't dare to push open those glass doors. Yes, there were doors to push open.
Practically just went there to cuci mata xD

There was some TVB occasion. No idea what exactly cause I couldn't understand mandarin. Being typical Malaysians, these people sat at the stairs in the middle of everyones way. Typical.

Now, about Narnia... *swoon* Prince Caspian the hottie :)

Much much much better than the previous one. Mainly because their acting skills have improved to a really high scale. The storyline was fantastic. The costumes were SUPERB. The characters were shooo cute! Especially the warrior mouse.
I don't know why I've never had the kick to buy and read the whole set of Chronicles of Narnia, by CS Lewis, when it was a major hit about 5 years ago. Now I regret. These books are twice as expensive as before because of the major motion picture.
Anyway, bottom line is, great movie. Definitely worth waiting in line surrounded by bratty kids, not that I did but Good Luck :D

I think we sat there for about 2 hours, chit-chatting non stop. Really enjoyed it :)
BUT, when the bill came, it shocked us off our seat! Totally off budget. Mind you, I'm saving for a laptop =p

The trip home was again an adventure. Any trip home by public transportation with Jean IS AN ADVENTURE xD
We had some trouble looking for the monorail because of limited help.
Thankfully a receptionist was sooooo polite and fluent in english gave us easy directions.
Well, we got a little lost too cause we didn't know -how to get over to the other side-
But we managed to find our way. It was a lil freaky because people couldn't stop staring.
The station was just across the road down by Bukit Bintang.
Dayemm... Now I know where all the hit clubs are ;) aaaaand Starhill! Jogoya here I come!
Bukit Bintang road was indeed really really busy. Bumped into this...

Being a typical Malaysian :D I was curious about the bunch of people crowding around a bank.
Apparently these teenagers lepak here for no reason whatsoever. I heard it was in the newspaper, but never thought that it was serious and such a huge number of people. What a useless way to waste your time. Might as well walk around Pavilion and cuci mata.
Jean started saying out loud "Hindraf! Hindraf!" Thank God no one heard her political remark. God knows what might happen. Heyy, we're some town kids in Bukit Bintang, known for being really rowdy, so yeah, of course I was a tad scared.
Reached home safely, thankfully. Gosh, I can't wait to drive! Bukit Bintang is gonna be my regular hangout spot the minute I get my driver's license. Teehee!

This is, hands down, the movie of the year!

Went over to Cineleisure with Nutty, Sammie, JunHsien, Jerrard, Shaun, Nicholas, Bob, Zhuo Li, ChienLung, ZhenMing, RuiWei. Yeap all 12 of us. We took the whole row of seats.
Thankfully our seats were just right, leveled to the screen. Spared my neck from aches.
I loveloveloved the movie. It was sooooooooo coool! I'm not a super-hero manic kind of person, buuuut... Iron Man is now my favorite superhero!
Step aside Spiderman, Batman, Superman, whatever Men in underwear... Here comes the new MAN OF STEEL.

I can't remember how many times I actually chanted "ohh that's soo cool! mannn that's so cool! daaammnn that's soooo cool!" So yeah, the movie's cool!

McSteamy of Steels

Yeah... I know I know... He's 43 years OLD. But he gives me heart throbs. I don't know why! I just find his 'bad boy' image so so so appealing!
Short fact : He was sentenced to jail for drug abuse and went in and out of rehab a couple of times before. He's now totally clean and had been hunted by most producers ever since his newfound sobriety.
He can even sing! Released a small album a couple of years ago. I saw it on Oprah. Yes, I watch Oprah occasionally. But I prefer Ellen DeGeneres, hands down!

After the movie, all the guys went over to Tropicana for "swimming". I can't imagine the whole bunch of them, WET in a pool.
Nutty and I went shopping after that. Not that we bought anything, but tried on lots of clothes.
I realised that our taste is about the same :) Aaandd our indecisive habit!
I think we roamed around Curve for 15 minutes and couldn't decide where to eat.
I was low on cash and Nutty had too much to spend xD
Ended up we settled @ O'Brien's. Whenever you feel like eating sandwiches, just head over to O'Brien's. Simple and tasty :D

Finally... Exams are officially over! Well, almost... There's one LAST paper tomorrow, Mod Maths. I'm so exhausted and effing sick of studying. So, what the heck. Shall just main tembak. I totally screwed up my Chemistry and Biology paper. And I mean seriously screwed up BIG TIME. It's like... flip flip scratch scratch blank blank scribbles scribbles. Aaaaanndd... What do you do when you feel like a total fool even after studying till 2.30am and waking up at 5.00am just to cramp some effing crap in? Screw the paper!! Well, coughs... I don't mean it literally though. It wouldn't be very pleasant for the teacher to mark your soggy paper.

Bah. It's over and done with. I had really high hopes on my Physics paper cause' I totally enjoyed it. But nooo... My results came back and it was bleak. Bah. Screw it.

Well, congratulations to ManchesterUnited for their triumph. Although I still think Chelsea deserves it much more, I shall not press on that too much. Besides, this was sooooo "yesterday's" news... So, no one would actually take what I say into account. Heh. I'm too late xD


I can't believe how outdated I am. I just found out a couple of days ago that Cindy Tey became the first MalaysianDreamGirl. I was like, SERIOUSLY? That bitch who couldn't stop bitching about everyone else and was so engrossed in her OWN fake 'aussie' accent. I can't say for sure if she deserves it or not because I'm not a true MDG fan. The last episode I saw when Epi7 if I'm not mistaken. So yeah. But I did watch a couple of episodes where she couldn't stop whining about the other girls on the phone with her dad. Geez, lady, seriously?? Oh, and I heard her daddy dearest spent RM15-effing-geees on sms-ing just so that she would win. Honey, there are definitely other "brilliant" ways to dump those greens. Unless of course, maybe that bulb of his doesn't go poof anymore.

So, an update on my life. Mummy dearest had decided to quit her job and be a free lancer. Man, that boss of hers can't give her a break. She totally reminds me of Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger. Seriously, no shit. She's in her mid 60's if I'm not mistaken, lived most of her life in the UK then came back to M'Sia to open a new IT company and from then decided to make her employees' lives a living hell. Can't describe what a hypocrite she is. Insulting us Malaysian while she still has her shiny blue printed IC. She has this annoying British accent. She goes all, "oh, HOney... stUpiD fooL... idiOTS... malAYsiaNS... ruBBish mANGlish" Somehow she LOVES to emphasize every note in a word till it'll drill a hole in your eardrum. Pain in the effing arse!

Mind you, I ADORE the English accent. I would melt if Simon Cowell were to come right up at me and say "...mediocre, cabaret!" Or even the stomach wrenching Daniel Craig landing from sky high saying, "Call me Bond... James Bond."

Yeah I know. Been away for ages. My comp kaput-ed. Just got it fixed recently. A week ago actually, but it's been so difficult to find time to go online. Exams are 5 days away! Scratch that, 4 days since it's 1.20 a.m. now. I'm so effing dead. Barely started studying yet... Been snoozing off on Sejarah lately. Lesson learned : Never study on the couch. Better yet, never study on anything soft! Will most definitely fall asleep :) I'm gonna run a quick prediction here. Subjects I'm gonna fail : Sejarah (there's soooo much to memorize), P.Moral (ain't easy if your teacher failed the WHOLE class for a monthly test), ModMaths (I know... silly but I totally neglected this since last yr. Okay, maybe the worst I'll get is a C, but still!!) aaaaand not forgetting Biology. Mind you, I LOVE Bio. But I find it so darn difficult to excel in it. It's effing tough!

I actually planned on uploading lots of pics. But I just found out I can't rotate my pics properly because Nero PhotoSnap Viewer won't let me!! The person who reformatted my comp installed a whole new program called Nero for my CD burner, media viewer and image viewer. Now I'm having major problems with the stoooopiid image viewer. So effing annoying. I've come to a conclusion : Uninstall all that crap and re-download all the previous programs that I used. It'll take up a lot of time but heck...

Shit... I was uninstalling some stuff while blogging. I found out that I uninstalled the whole NERO program. Now I have no burning program and media viewer. Shit shit shit. I'm so dead... I'm soo not IT savvy :|
